On January 15, 2012 in Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding
a meeting was held between foreign students studying at shipbuilding specialties and representatives of Mykolayiv division of Regional Governance in Ukraine CJSC Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, and its Head Konovalenko Vadim Petrovych. The meeting was organized on the initiative of vice-rector of scientific, educational, administrative work and development, Khachaturov Eduard Borisovych, Educational Scientific Center of International Cooperation, and its Head Ryzhkov Oleksandr Sergiiovych.
During the meeting the Head of the department V.P. Konovalenko spoke about the role of CJSC Russian Maritime Register of Shipping in the creation and operation of all vessels and the position of register’s inspector, which can be held by the graduates of NUS. Representatives of the register have assessed the level of students’ training and noted its high level.
These meetings will be further held by the Heads of NUS. They are aimed at improving the image of the university as a university of European level, which prepares high qualified graduates as well as takes care about their future employment.
