Westminster College offers the following scholarships andprograms to international students, including first-time freshmen and transferstudents:

$25,000 a year award available to both first-year andtransfer students.

Health*
The Global Health Scholarships In an effort to furtherthe educational component of our mission, the Center for Global Health supportsstudents who exhibit outstanding academic records and a strong desire to pursueglobal health careers. Each year, eight or nine scholarships are awarded toincoming MPH, MHS, and MS students in the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
The scholarships are awarded through a competitiveprocess and are open to all domestic and international students. All admittedstudents into the Bloomberg School of Public Health are considered for theaward. Students can only be awarded the scholarship as a new student; returningstudents are not eligible. If you wish, you may mention your desire for thescholarship in your admissions essay. The scholarship covers full tuition forthe 11-month MPH program and for one year of a two-year MHS or MS program.fulltuition for the 11-month MPH program and for one year of a two-year MHS or MSprogram.

students*

UC Berkeley Extension is offering $5,000 in InternationalDiploma Programs
(IDP) scholarships available exclusively to postgraduateinternational students assisted by *EducationUSA offices and advisers*. IDPprovides short-term, intensive certificates in various business and managementdisciplines, including marketing, finance, and project management.
Students who apply for a 4-Month IDP are eligible for a$1,000 scholarship; students applying for the new 2-Month IDP in Management andLeadership are eligible for a $500 scholarship. Students must meet regular IDPadmission requirements; scholarships will be awarded to those who demonstratethe greatest potential for career advancement. Applications for the summer 2011term are due April 1, 2011.

The Hauser Research Scholars Program is open to non-USjunior academics from outside of the United States who wish to spend a fullacademic year at NYU School of Law working on a major piece of legal sch  olarship. Preference will be given tocandidates who have already secured a position at a university. Candidates mustbe on "tenure track" at their home university.

*Fellowship on 'Corporations and Citizenship' at TheUniversity of
Pennsylvania***

Beginning in January 2011, the Penn Program on Democracy,Citizenship, and Constitutionalism (DCC) will welcome applications for a one-year DCC Postdoctoral Fellow in anydiscipline whose research is pertinent to the Program's 2011-2012 theme,"Corporations and Citizenship." The Program welcomes both empirical and normative scholarship.
The Democracy, Citizenship, and Constitutionalism programis an interdisciplinary initiative, funded by the Mellon Foundation, whichincludes a faculty seminar series and annual conference on themes chosen by theProgram's Faculty Advisory Council; a graduate workshop series; andundergraduate research grants. The DCC Postdoctoral Fellow is expected toparticipate in the faculty seminar series, teach a Freshman Seminar on arelated topic, and attend monthly meetings to discuss the progress ofundergraduates receiving research grants. The Fellow also has the opportunityto pursue the Fellow's research and study and participate generally in theintellectual life of the Penn community. Stipend is $53,800, plus healthinsurance.
The University of Pennsylvania is an equalopportunity/affirmative action employer. Eligibility is limited to applicantswho will have received their Ph.D. within five years prior to the time they begintheir fellowship at Penn (i.e. May 2006 or later). Application deadline: March18, 2011.

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Jan. 4, 2011) - SUNY Plattsburgh hasonce again been recognized by Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine as anational leader in offering "an excellent education at an affordableprice."
The college made the "Kiplinger 100: Best Values inPublic Colleges" list, placing 64th for in-state students and 63rd forout-of-state students and ranking ahead of schools such as University ofVermont, University of New Hampshire and SUNY Albany. The list appears in theFebruary 2011 issue of the magazine, which hit newsstands today.
According to Kiplinger's, the college was selected from apool of more than
